She is having ocd for the last 9 years after she was pregnant. Whenever I am coming out from outside to home she wants me to take a bath before I touch her or my daughter. Whenever my daughter touches the switches on our house she will take her for hand wash or even for a bath. While I come for vacation she will take out all the clothes and items from my bag and will wash with dettol liquid. She is not willing to do sex with me since she is afraid she will get dirty and if she does she will spend 2 hours in bathroom to clean. Could anyone suggest a solution since this is getting hectic for me and my daughter?

The aforementioned symptoms are suggestive of your wife probably having features of ocd. This is curable and requires to seek consultation from the psychiatrist who could treat your wife with reasonable medications and improve the quality of life.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a common mental health problem. Symptoms typically include recurring thoughts and repetitive actions in response to the recurring thoughts.
